When she was in her 20s\, she moved to California from Vermont. They have four grown children and grandchildren. The whole family helps with the business\, and one of their sons started a mail-order gift box/subscription business called California Avocados Direct to share the delicious premium fruit that they grow directly with the people who love to eat it! \nFollowing the presentation from Dame Holtz\, Dame Nancy Madok will share some of her favorite recipes where avocado is the main star. Dame Madok graduated from the Culinary Institute of America. She had a wonderfully varied career in the culinary arts\, from a waitress to a line cook and a caterer. She has also planned and organized banquets\, weddings\, and conferences. Dame Madok has also taught cooking classes to busy moms and culinary aficionados. \nYou will have the ability to pre-order a box of avocados from Dame Mimi Holtz’s farms. “Best of Both Worlds “will include 3 Hass and 3 Fuerte Avocados.
